Description of the Flag

The far-right and white nationalist Canadian Nationalist Party (CNP) was started in 2017 by Travis Patron in Redvers, Saskatchewan, Canada. In 2019, the CNP was registered as a federal party by Elections Canada. Patron and two others ran that year under the Canadian Nationalist Party banner in the 2019 Federal Election in their electoral districts. All three were unsuccessful. Since that time the CNP has participated as counter-protesters against various Gay Pride and Black Lives Matter demonstrations and has been at the center of violence, especially in the Toronto area. Most recently their flag has been seen at an "anti-mask freedom rally" held in Saskatchewan, Canada (2021). The CNP's stated goal is "to improve the social and economic conditions of an ethnocentric Canada by maintaining the demographic majority status of white Canadians whose interests would be prioritized by the party over that of ethnic minorities."

This design much resembles the "Templar" flags which are being sold online and have become rather popular among the North American and European ultra-rightists, only with the black and white colors reversed and the Templar Cross replacing the CNP's sun cross. The party website is currently not available online, but it's captured at the Internet Archive and reveals that the "Canadian Nationalist Party Ensign" was introduced on 2020-09-22. It also contains this Templar flag.

Another captured page displays the image of a "Canadian Nationalist Flag", which resembles the "Templar" flag even more, copying its basic design, only with re-arranged colors.
